Weekend Update

I haven't had as much time to update my blog as I expected. I promise I'll try to do better. Until then I'll give you a quick update of the last few weekends. I went to Williamsburg a few weeks ago, with my sister and some, friends to check out the Renegade Craft Fair. We were there for all of five minutes when the clouds opened up releasing a downpour of rain. We were stuck in the rain for about an hour with only our umbrellas as shelter. Needless to say, it was not the outing we hoped for and was not fun.

One good thing did come out of the trip: Vinnie's Pizzeria. I stopped there on the way back home to get a quick slice. The pizza was really good. If you ever get the chance, stop by Vinnie's. The next weekend I went to P.S. 1, an art gallery in Queens, for an opening. Here are a few of the pieces that caught my attention. This piece doesn't really look like this, it was an image effect.
This piece was nickels with matches glued to them. I can't remember how many there were, it was somewhere in the thousands.
