Joan of Abaete

This look from Abaete's f/w 08 RTW show looks very Joan of Arc, no? I'm intrigued...

Noirohio Vintage: Style Icon

I'm new to Noirohio Vintage, a store selling one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, but I've already fallen in love with their selection. The pieces are delectable. Nothing caught my eye quite like this...
A blazer that looks like it came straight from the set of Desperately Seeking Susan!!! I must admit I absolutely loved that movie when I was a kid. [[I actually might have a tape of it somewhere that I recorded]] This blazer made Susan [[and Roberta as Susan.]] Madonna circa the 80s is definitely one of my style icons.

As much as I wanted to get it, bids [[they have an ebay store]] were already up to $113 by the time I discovered it. Simply put, I don't have the money right now. Sadly, I had to forget about having my own Susan jacket or case of mistaken identity, crime-solving adventure. Some lucky lady snatched up my jacket, but hopefully this is not the last time we cross paths. Until then I will be frequenting Noirohio Vintage for other great finds!

So M.I.A

Not the singer/rapper [[i'm not sure what to classify her as]] but the military term. I have been m.i.a for a while, but i'm back now. I have a lot of updates: my adventures in NY have sadly come to an end, working on some new projects, and of course things that are completely random. I'm still in a transition period, getting back to the way things used to be, but I promise to post updates very soon.
